Determining Your Setup

The "Setup" filter helps you to focus on those presets best-suited for how you use your Axe-Fx.

FRFR/Direct presets (like all of the Factory presets) are designed for "full-range flat-response" systems such as studio monitors, PAs, headphones, etc.

Pwr. Amp + Cab presets use real power amps and guitar speakers.

4-Cable Method (aka :4CM") presets require a special setup with connectors both in front of and in the effects loop of a real amp.

Fx Loop presets in the loop of a real amp. A loop may be SERIES or PARALLEL and the preset needs to be built accordingly.

Gtr Amp Input presets should be used in front of a (real) head or combo. Guitar->Axe-Fx->Amp Input.

Other setups also exist (e.g. combinations of the above).

"Cab" search results ignore the settings of this filter.

Tweaked the phaser so it's a little closer to the Uni-Vibe Trey uses. Added a reverse delay setting on Delay 1 similar to Trey's MicroVerb settings. All 8 scenes are now programmed as well!

My Trey A patch updated for FW15.02. The effects chain is unchanged from the 14.xx version but the AMP and CAB blocks have been reset and reworked from the ground up. All the fantastic changes in 15.02 made it easier to just dial it in fresh.

In addition to the MkIII AMP block I've dialed in a Shiva Clean sound on the Y side as an attempt to cop some recent Trey tones from Letterman and the Fuego tunes they've been doing from the new album.

The CAB block uses the The Amp Factory TAF_ART+TangoJR-MIX IR but if you don't have that switch the CAB block to the Y side where I've dialed it in with the factory OH_412_MAR-CB_V30-CH_Studio-Modern IR that comes with the firmware download.
