Determining Your Setup

The "Setup" filter helps you to focus on those presets best-suited for how you use your Axe-Fx.

FRFR/Direct presets (like all of the Factory presets) are designed for "full-range flat-response" systems such as studio monitors, PAs, headphones, etc.

Pwr. Amp + Cab presets use real power amps and guitar speakers.

4-Cable Method (aka :4CM") presets require a special setup with connectors both in front of and in the effects loop of a real amp.

Fx Loop presets in the loop of a real amp. A loop may be SERIES or PARALLEL and the preset needs to be built accordingly.

Gtr Amp Input presets should be used in front of a (real) head or combo. Guitar->Axe-Fx->Amp Input.

Other setups also exist (e.g. combinations of the above).

Description Fender Twin/Dumble HB I just uploaded to Axe Exchange my revised basic all purpose live patch (You need to crank it up) for FW11. When I play out I use my Axe setup like I would use a regular combo amp at a gig. Just plug and play (no FOH). This is the final one I will be using at gigs with humbuckers. I have simplified it and it is less CPU intensive. Music my band plays is mostly soul/r&b with some dance, a little bit of blues and some classic rock Twin and Dumble amps are used 5 Scenes 1. Basic Rhythm (Twin) 2. Compressor (R&B/Motown/Dance) (if amp is set to Y switch to x -- it is suppose to be Twin in Scene 2) 3. Edge Breakup - when I need a little bit of hair (Twin/ RC Boost) 4. Light Crunch - Twin - Zendrive 5. Lead - Amp Change to a ODS 100 Lead Mid Guitar: Suhr Humbucker tele Korina Body Matrix Amp Q12 cab
